Funding entity HELIOS ENGINEERING S.L.
IIT will give technical support to HELIOS ENGINEERING S.L. for the design of several power-electronic converters for a hybrid vehicle (electric engine + combustion engine). The resulting prototypes will be tested in the Laboratory for Electrical Drives of the Engineering School of Comillas. These tests will focus on the drive losses.
The converters to be tested are as follows:
- DC-to-AC converter for the stator of the main traction synchronous motor.
- DC-to-DC converter for the excitation of the main traction synchronous motor.
- DC-to-AC converter for the induction motor of the air-conditioning unit.
